#-Cabaret

Cabaret was a BLAST!!! Totally fantastic, especially the Emcee, Fei Xiang. Really loved the whole show, albeit quite porno. But wow the set, the stage movements, and script, the orchestra, everything was awesome!! Kudos to Toy Factory for pulling off a fabulous production. Although I don't really life Emma Yong, I have to say that she put up quite a stunning performance tonight, and most of the singing were impressive. I know the band was good, especially the bassist. Only the violinist was not really very good. But other than that, great show.

I especially liked the part where the Nazi people came walking in and took different positions on the stage and just stood there. That was lovely use of the stage to create a very mysterious tension to fit the setting. The other thing was the transition of the Emcee from happy and euphoric to scared and depressed, his total deterioration of mood was perfect.
