#-Dizzy, Dazed, Drunk

The feeling of being bordering "pissed drunk" is not a good one. I was at Southbridge last night with a lovely lady and since on Fridays and weekends they have this minimum 2 drinks rule, we ordered a jug of beer and had to gulp it down in like slightly over an hour, which was a really bad move, considering both of us couldn't quite hold our alcohol really well. So...we both got kinda high, plus I got a throbbing headache and became so darn dizzy I could hardly walk straight.

Fortunately I could still retain my senses and so didn't do anything funny, nor stupid, but hey we both enjoyed ourselves, talking over dinner and drinks. Next time, I'll try to remind myself to order less alcohol, since my course of Isotretenion already aggravates my liver function. Shouldn't push it anymore, lest I get liver failure.

We were supposed to go watch our friend dance salsa at her studio, but apparently, all the guys she usually dances with were not around, and she didn't dare approach another guy she wanted to dance with. bleah, so unlike SwingFling, where everyone asks everyone else to dance, it's just so much more fun, without the need to be "good" to show people. Never mind, I'll go watch another time then.

When I got back home, I knocked-out straightaway, without even changing. That was how terrible I felt. haha. Which is highly unlike me because I hardly sleep without first showering, except in army. So I woke up at 3am to shower and reply some messages, still feeling my head throbbing mind you, and then go back to sleep again. Luckily, I drank lots of water at 3am, so I didn't get a hangover today.

And I can't believe how stingy the SAF is. For my unit's Change-of-Command parade, they asked me to perform jazz for their happy hour celebrations, and they only allocated a budget of $500, which includes rental of equipment, and so, since I'm charging $300 for my band, equipment can only cost $200, which is impossible considering the cheapest system I could find was $300. So in the end I'll have to go in with David, just the 2 of us, rent a keyboard and an amplifier, and bring another of my own, all to bring the rental cost down to $150. Just gives me more reason to hate the army. Plus I wouldn't even dare to bring any of my female singers in because the party will be attended mostly by males, in a small room, with beer, and beer girls, and karaoke. No way I'm letting any of my female friends in one of those rooms. Either way, the gig is on Thursday, and we're as usual going in without any practice. haha.
