So there is a plan,
Though I may not know.
But still I will follow,
Because You have won my heart.
Though it may hurt,
I will take up my Cross daily.
I will follow You to Calvary,
The damned place,
The blessed place.

Please assure me Lord.
Assure me this will only last but a little longer.
Assure me that Your favour lasts forever.
Assure me that there are better things ahead.

You collect my tears in Your bottle.
Tears that I've shed over her,
Please label them under her name.
I'd like to see it when I come home.

Another you,
So you really think I'm self-sacrificial.
Such a painful compliment that was.
Thank you for those sweet words,
Which brought tears to my eyes.
Which made me weep and dirty my couch.
Thank you for always being there,
For turning me back to the Father.
I love you with all my heart.

I pray dear Lord,
That this will be a good week.
But then every week is good,
When I'm in Your presence.
So keep me there Lord,
Descend like a dove.
Spirit rain down,
Fill my life.
All is Yours,
I submit to You.
