#-And now you're gone

Sigh.

Slowly the countdown begins. From 3 to 2, one week ago. And today, from 2 to 1. By the end of September, 0, nil, zip, nada. Ok, not really zero. There's one left, but we have few oppotunities to keep in contact. It's such joy to see friends going on to greater things, reaching greater heights. But depressing to see them all leave, while I'm stuck in this stigma for another 14 months.

To you who left, my heart rejoices that you are able to further your studies, and in such a prestigious college. You should have seen how happy I was when you told me you got the scholarship, jumping around exciting as a little kid. I thank God for this friendship He has blessed me with and though it is sad to see you leave, I will miss you dearly and will be praying for you. I wish you all the best in that college of yours, you will play hard, study harder and pray the hardest. "May the God of Peace...equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christm to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen" Hebrews13:20-21. Please take care and God bless.

And to another dear, dear friend, I thank the Lord for bringing you into my life, and that He has allowed a beautiful friendship to blossom between us. I love you with all my heart, and I share in your joy of getting into that school you wanted to go. Perhaps one day I'll go visit Manhatten and Rhode Island to see two of you. Now that you're safe and sound there, I pray that our Father keep you under His wings that you may find shelter, that the Son keep you in His embrace that you may find comfort, and that the Spirit keep you in His working, that you may continue to be in step with Him and fulfill that plan God has for you. "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers6:24-26. So dearest Shang, continue to walk in the Lord and draw close to Him.

One day when you take me to Union you're going to have the surprise of your life. haha.

To all my J2's, all the best for the prelims! Soon it'll all be over, and the A'levels too, and your hard work will finally pay off.
