I've been so busy I haven't had the time to blog. This week has seen me sleeping 4-5 hours every night, occupied with driving classes, practice, and loads of dancing.

So the gig coming up tomorrow is probably one of the biggest I'll ever get. Chijmes jazz festival is second only to Esplanade Mosaic. It's kind of intomidating, going in with a very diverse band, and playing at an event where many jazz musicians will attend. I have a rather interesting band this time round, with a very new drummer Boyle, who is actually surprisingly good with his rhythm. Then there's ShouJie on violin who has improved alot since last year. Justin from the electric band Holiday On Saturdays, who basically adds a whole new dimension and facet to the music, but may have rhythm problems and tendencies to get lost. But the sounds he incorporates, the groove he creates all bring out more flavour to jazz, more excitement. Hopefully this will make us stand out from the "just-another-amatuer-band" attitude. Of course last but certainly not least, Kelly on vocals. She sounded terrific during rehearsals and I really hope she can keep it up for the performance, because I cannot afford to have her any less.

Latin Fiesta yesterday was quite cool. No actually it was quite hot. Looking at the pros dance just makes me want to work damn hard to get to that standard; it's just looks so darn good. The lesson was ok I guess, still slow, and the only thing I find abit dissapointing was that most of the people in social only dance with a couple of partners for the whole night, not even asking other people to dance, which so defeats the purpose of social. Either way, I got to dance with some Salsa1 people, which was boring because they don't know very many moves, nor know how to follow. To add to that, this lady kept hinting for me to dance with her, but she drank before she came so the smell of alcohol just repelled me, not to mention she wasn't the best follow. But, I met this other really beautiful lady, and she was a pleasure to dance with, not so much that her following was good, but she was hot and at least she was Salsa2 so she knew abit more moves and could teach me the move they learned in their lesson. And towards the end of Fiesta, there were the really pro couples dancing Bachata and Merengue, and goodness it looks so sexy. I mean all the hip movements and in such close proximity just looks so hot. I'm so going to learn it one day.

Today, we will have another practice for the gig, and hopefully we can polish up some stuff to make it sound really good. I'm so grateful to Ms Ang for getting me such a huge gig.

Shang and Karl are going away so soon, and I don't really have time to spend with them!! I don't even think I will get to see Shang before she leaves.

At least I think things are slowly improving, but I still don't know if anything will happen. I just don't know what plan He has in mind. I shan't think too much or read too much into your actions, or my own; I become paranoid.
