#-Memories, Nostalgia, Recollections

I'll never forget memorable nights at Southbridge, be it with you, you, or perhaps the 2 of you. It's just the atmosphere which gives it such character, such maturity, and with that character it engraves fond nostalgia in people's brains. And the music, oh yes the music. It is fantastic to say the least, and all agree that they take home lasting impressions of just one night.

I remember enjoying your company that night. And while such music might induce negative memories for you, to me, it presents me with an oppotunity to let go of everything, to step into such a welcoming world. But you miss that night, and so do I. I do sometimes wish that we could spend more time with each other, but the way things are now might be better for the time being.

And I laugh whenever I think about the time you were with me, how we had to order a jug of beer and ended up quite drunk. But what a lovely time we had, I'm sure you'd agree. These memories will no doubt stay for a long time, for me to think back, to laugh, to reminisce, to smile.

Aya Sekine is back on piano in Southbridge!! How cool is that?! I love her style and her improvisation has such power and energy in it, which totally brings out her freshness, her youth. And there's a new singer Robert Hicks, and boy does he sing well. Such a pleasure to watch, really, and with a voice like that, silver hair, blue eyes, and that smirk on his face, hes nothing short of a crooner I'd say.

I saw SOO many people there tonight!! There was Shoujie and his classmates, including YeeKiat and Ruth, Mr Wong from ACS, which was quite a surprise. And then from Lindy, Joanna and her boyfriend, as well as Gracie. Quite cool actually, bumping into so many people by coincidence. Had a good chat with many of them. It's quite amazing how being surrounded by friends and people helps one to forget their worries and cares.

And before Southbridge, our family and the twins went to watch the fireworks display at the Esplanade, of which we couldn't get a full-view due to the massive crowds there, which came disgustingly early to get a nice seat. But nonetheless, it was still breathtaking and gorgeous, plus I never really had an oppotunity to see this kind of show before, so even for me, much more of the twins, I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Now that the night is aging, my eyes are getting tired and I'm getting rather sleepy, so I'm gonna stop already. I might go for the Sunday jam one of these weekends, must think about it.

"An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips."Proverbs24:26.

How ironic that the hard truth usually hurts, and hardly feels like a kiss to me (although I don't really know it feels like). But yes sometimes, it is needed to build one another up.
