#-LAPTOP!

I got a NEW COMPUTER! And a new internet connection. Which means faster downloads and my blog can finally work properly.

But I'm ripping all my CDs into the hard drive so everytime a disc gets ripped, the internet screen starts to refresh, which means all my writing gets deleted and I have to type the entry again.

But it's still better than the old computer. Soon I'll get the external player/hard drive and then I'll put all my photos and stuff into that one, so that there will be enough space on the computer.

SJO will soon practice in SMU, who has granted us residency, in exchange for free concerts and workshops. Works for me, even though I'll only be playing till October. Apparently RJC wants to try to push the SJO concert to October, which means I won't be able to play for that. Oh well, as long as the new guys form some network with the SJO guys, the Jazz Club should be able to sustain itself when I'm gone, and hopefully when I return from studies the alumni will be quite strong. I hope.

Ian, Karl and Shang are back! Which means probably super packed schedules to try to meet up with them on top of all my programmes. But it's all good.

I'm probably going to peform swing dance soon, in quite a big event so watch out for further notices, because I'm not supposed to give details yet.

Just applied for hall for Imperial College recently, and waiting for their reply. I requested for Beit Hall, which is a stone's throw from the South Kensington campus. I put down that I have a double bass and would probably take lessons at RCM. Hopefully they'll take this into consideration and give me a room there, at least for the first year. Ian's place is done up already, so I'll probably stay with him after they kick me out of the hall.

So far, after 3 sessions of laser, only stubborn areas are left, so next time I'll probably have to ask for a more intense laser to burn them all off. Hopefully it'll be done by the time I leave. All the nurses there talk about me quite abit because they think I'm queer and I have a pink wallet, and the doctor thinks I'm a little dubious...hahaha. Looks like this seems to the way alot of people think about me. Fortunately, I don't really care what they think because I know myself and I'm quite proud of being eccentric and unique, or weird. Whatever works.

Tomorrow, I'll be teaching jazz theory to Lau again, so I'd better head off to the pillow to get the rest I need to teach tritone substitutions and stuff tomorrow.
