#-Copius amounts of sugar and eggs

Almost 3 weeks of school here in London, and although the weather is getting colder, I'm getting more used to the place and everything. School is still slack which is still awkward for me, but since I do the most of the cooking and cleaning, I guess that allows me time for stuff like that and still study. My ticket back to Singapore has still not been secured, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to go back during Christmas. But I actually have a few things to buy back here from Singapore.

Trying to save money here makes me think of interesting uses of food such as expired bread or left overs. Last week I made french toast with about half a loaf of expired bread, which meant we had to eat it for dinner as well instead of rice. This week I had another almost full loaf of expired bread so I made bread and butter pudding, which takes an ungodly amount number of eggs. 8 for the custard and another 6 yolks for the vanilla sauce. Seriously thats 14 eggs in one afternoon, it's just sick. I wanted to finish most of the expired bread, so there was obviously too much bread for the amount of custard, but it came out well, and according to my recipe it serves 10. Ian had some people over for OCF meeting thing, so I fed them well of course, all 9 of us. Mayling said it tasted as good as the one at Hilton. I just have to put that down on record. And it was my first time making this!!

Decided to do rhythm tap at Pineapple studios. What a challenge, the others in the class are all damn good and I'm so noob trying to catch up with the steps the teacher is trying to teach. Must seriously practice. I shall be going to Holy Trinity Brompton church tomorrow, just to see how it's like. It's a little far but Joyce is taking me there. Apparently it's supposed to be really good.
